Ballah's College Football Preview pt 3

Every college football season seems to bring in a new regime of impact freshmen. This years class, like many others are packed with blue chippers. I've put together a list of a few individuals who I believe will arrive to stardom, sooner rather than later.

Here is our
Facebook Freshman Class ...(expect lots of hits on the field and facebook pokes off)

OFFENSE:

QB: Andrew Luck, Stanford

Look for former NFL Pro Bowl QB and head coach Jim Harbaugh to take Luck under his wing and develop him into a premiere college Quarterback.

RB: Darrell Scott, Colorado

The young Buffalo offense gelled late in 2007. Their only knock was the lack of speed and production at the RB, in which their leading rusher ran for 400 yards. Scott possesses a great combination of size and speed, and will cause havoc in the Big 12 for years.

WR: Julio Jones, Alabama
-------------------------->>>>
Anything less than stellar would make this kid a bust:
A SEC coach said "Jones is a combination of Randy Moss and Larry Fitzgerald."

Michael Floyd, Notre Dame

In 2007, Notre Dame was ranked 117th in scoring offense for Division I-A college football teams. Look for Blue chipper Michael Floyd to help with his big play ability.

TE: Kyle Rudolph, Notre Dame

As I stated for Michael Floyd, Notre Dame needs all the help they can get. Rudolph has it all the size, the skills, he will make things happen in the red zone.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DEFENSE:

DE: DaQuan Bowers, Clemson

The most dominate Freshmen on defense in quite sometime. He will give ACC offensive Coordinators nightmares for years. He has the strength to stuff the run, but also possesses the speed to terrorize off the edges.

DT: Marcus Forton, Miami

After dominating against the Nations best during the Army All-American week, Forston all but solidified himself as the best down lineman. He has the size, the strength, and quickness to help right the wrongs in Miami.

LB: Nigel Bradham, FSU

Noles best breaking line breaker since Derrick Brooks. He approaches the game with the willingness to dominate in every aspect (physically, mentally and instinct.)

CB: Patrick Johnson, LSU

The tigers collectively had one need, and one need only, the secondary. Johnson is more than just a big hitter, he can flat out cover. He may share minutes between CB and Safety.

S: Will Hill, Florida
-------------------------->>
Florida's young secondary had its share of struggles in the 2007 season. Look for Hill to come in and make a immediate impact. To a young but talented defensive group.
He is extremely versatile and will be used in offensive sets as well as special teams.

Ballah's College Football Preview pt 2

Men on Fire:

If you haven't noticed our government is currently in a recession, in short no job is a sure thing. That goes for any occupation, from accountants to coaches:

Tyrone Willingham, Washington:

What more can a coach ask for? Seattle has it all, superb facilities, administrative staff support, a firm recruiting base…What aren't we competing in bowl games? Correction, why aren't we contending for a Pac-10 title? Step your game up homie!

Ron Prince, Kansas State:

Let me start by saying, he managed to secure a recruiting class full of Junior College players. Okay I'm done.

Mike Stoops, Arizona:

Another 4-5 season wont cut it. In fact, if the Wildcats don't smell a bowl game. It's over for Stoops.

Kirk Ferentz, Iowa:

When your getting $2.8 million per season, there will be certain expectations you must meet.

Charlie Weis, Norte Dame:

After going 3-9, with one of those losses coming from Navy, YES I SAID NAVY. Weis is beginning to make Ty Willingham's stint with the Fighting Irish look brilliant. Don't believe anything you hear about his job security. The clock is ticking…

Greg Robinson, Syracuse:

Note to Coach R, your now 7-28 With the orange men. Last season things got ugly quick. By week 3, a loss vs. Pitt, the Carrier Dome was calling for your head. This season same rules apply, winning early is a must. I think It's time for change.

Honorable mention:

Ralph Friedgen, Maryland

Doug Martin, Kent State

Todd Dodge, North Texas

Dave Wannstedt, Pitt

David Bailiff, Rice

Neil Callaway, UAB

Robb Akey, Idaho

Bobby Johnson, Vanderbilt

Mike Sanford, UNLV

JD Brookhart, Akron

Randy Shannon, Miami

Tim Brewster, Minnesota

Hal Humme, New Mexico State

Mark Snyder, Marshall

Brent Guy, Utah State

Joe Glenn, Wyoming

Charlie Weatherbie, La. Monroe

Mike Price, UTEP

Steve Kragthrope, Louisville

Ricky Bustle, La. Lafayette

Tom Amstutz, Toledo

Chuck Long, San Diego State

Gene Chizik, Iowa State

Stan Brock, Army

Ballah's College Football Preview pt 1

In the minds of College Football fanatics, the start of a new season beings in January, the day after the National Championship.
August has finally returned!
Before we get into This upcoming 2008 season, lets discuss some coaching changes made after the 2007 college football season.
Ranking The Coach Hires:

1. Paul Johnson, Georgia Tech:

Johnson is a very good football coach who has simply won everywhere (Navy, SMU). He's been waiting years for this type of opportunity. He approaches the game with a contagious attitude. Johnson is a X's and O's type of guy, one of the best. Look for Johnson to assemble a strong staff. With an opportunity to recruit superior athletes, look for Johnson, THE OPTION KING to install the triple option offense (similar to his Navy days).

2. Rich Rodriguez, Michigan:

Rodriguez appears to be more than a consolation
prize here. In four of the last five seasons, he has lead West Virginia to 4 conference championships, going 60-26 overall. His key to building West Virginia into a Big East Power was recruiting players that wanted to play for West Virginia. Can Coach Rod work his magic in Michigan?

3. Rich Neuheisel, UCLA:

Neuheisel has returned to his familiar stomping grounds, where he quarterbacked the 1984 Bruins to a Rose Bowl win. He comes to the Bruins with lots to prove. With some great years at Colorado and Washington under his belt , despite both gigs ending on a sour note. Colorado went on probation because of Neuheisel and he was axed in Washington for participating in a NCCA Tournament Pool. Most recently, a brief stint with the NFL's Baltimore Ravens as QB coach and offensive coordinator. Finally, the Bruins have found their "Guy", who wants to compete, and who wants it in the worst way.

4. Houston Nutt, Ole Miss:

Nutt comes to the SEC after putting in 10 years at Arkansas. He's quite familiar with the SEC, he knows what it takes to win. Can Nutt who accomplished a lot with a little, take advantage with prized recruits? How soon will the Rebels become SEC contenders again?

5.Bobby Petrino, Arkansas:

I wasn't feeling the way things went down with the Atlanta Falcons, despite three games remaining in the NFL regular season, Petrino bolted with no remorse. You cant be entirely mad at the situation, he did sign up to Coach the NFL's most exciting offensive weapon in Michael Vick. When it was clear Vick was no longer in the teams plans, he made his move. The fact remains, Petrno is an offensive genius, and there are few with the ability to create a better offense. Petrino has always been an SEC type of guy, and he has the chance to regain any lost respect he suffered from his brief NFL experiment. Critics want to know, can the best player caller in the game bring championships: conference and national, to Fayetteville?

6: Art Brilles, Baylor:

After turning Houston into one of the more elite of the non-BCS schools, I believed BCS job offers would've been pounding on Brilles door. In the end, a move a few hours north, and a takeover of a struggling Baylor program , proved enough to secure one of the games brightest offensive minds, in Brilles. What makes the Baylor job challenging, is the fact that its in the same neighborhood as schools like Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and Oklahoma. How does that make for recruiting? With all that being said, Briles is a Texas guy. Having someone who is familiar with Texas recruiting could be an asset.

7. Bo Pelini, Nebraska:

Despite no head coaching experience, there is something about Pelini that Dr. Tom Osborne loves. We'll have to trust him on this one. Pelini has served as an assistant in the NFL and he ran the husker defense in 2003 and served as interim head coach for Nebraska's bowl win over Michigan State that year.

8. Kevin Sumlin, Houston:

Great offensive mind who has held coaching positions for all skilled positions. He's a excellent communicator and recruiter, it wont be long that he proves his most recent work at Oklahoma was no fluke. Houston has arrived.

9. June Jones, SMU:

Jones has went 76-41 in his nine seasons at Hawaii, ending with a BCS bowl loss to Georgia in the 2007 Allstate Sugar Bowl. This offensive specialist, and former NFL head coach could not pass up a five year deal that makes him the highest paid coach in Conference USA.

10. Steve Fairchild, Colorado State:

For Fairchild, there really is no place like home. He will return to his alma mater, where he once quarterbacked and served as an assistant coach. He walked away from a great start to what seemed to be a promising NFL career. I guessing being a NFL offensive coordinator (Bills) was not as appealing as rebuilding his ala mater.

11. Mike Sherman, Texas A&M:

Look for Sherman to bring a pro-style offense, along with experienced coaching staff. Joe Kines will join Sheman's staff as Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator. It's only a matter of time before Aggies push Texas and Oklahoma.

12. Jerry Kill, Northern Illinois:

Heading to a decent program after earning his stripes in a lower division.

13: David Cutcliffe, Duke:

Duke has been at the bottom of ACC football for quite sometime. Look for Offensive genius Cutcliffe, to turn things around in one of the nations toughest jobs. Although Cutcliffe is not known for rebuilding, but the Dukies will contend for a bowl game in the near future??

Notable mentions:

Ken Niumatalolo, Navy

Greg McMackin, Hawaii

Bill Stewart, West Virginia

Larry Fedora, Southern Miss

Paul Wulff, Washington state

8-28-63... "I Have A Dream"

On this day, August 28th 1963 the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famous "I Have A Dream" speech on the National Mall in Washington D.C.

I have had the pleasure to go to the exact spot where the speech took place and look out along the National Mall Area... It is truly moving, and a presence is felt in the wind.  The March on Washington saw over 300,000 people, white and black, male and female, join together at a time when unity was not apart of the future.

I recommend and encourage EVERYONE to go to the National Mall and take in that part of history.
It was a defining moment, and one that still resonates with people everywhere.

And for your viewing pleasure... The Man of the Hour
Some special points...

"Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a
beginning. Those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual."

"The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people. For many of our white brothers as evidenced by their presence here today have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny and they have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom. We can not walk alone."

"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.'"

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."

"I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood."

"Let freedom ring. And when this happens, and when we allow freedom ring—when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children—black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics—will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: "Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"

For those that wanted to hear the most famous parts... here is the abridged version... short but still motivating and moving..

Resume Help!!! --- 19 Words Not To Use

So the semester is starting and besides getting situated on Campus... Lots of students will be looking for jobs...

So I'm here to help you out with Resume help., I'm sure I'll reuse this post at the end of the semester as people look for jobs during winter break...

So this was taken from the article "Choose your words carefully when crafting a resume," by Molly Joss.

And directly from Tech Republic

It's hard to believe that a few words could irritate someone enough to make them stop reading your resume, but it's true. Some hiring managers and recruiters admit that they have their own mental lists of words that annoy them. Resume how-to books may recommend that you pack your resume full of as many verbs, adjectives, and adverbs as you can. But if you aren't careful, you could turn off more prospective employers than you entice. Effective word choice is what really appeals to hiring managers--not action verbs and glittery modifiers. Here's a rundown of some words that hiring managers say detract from the persuasiveness of resumes they see.

Assist, assisted
Reasons to avoid: Hiring managers want to know what you did, not how you helped. If you're familiar enough with a task to put it on your resume, you can choose a better word than assist.
Example: Assisted marketing director by researching PDAs.
Possible rephrasing: Researched PDAs for marketing department.
Experiment
Reasons to avoid: No one wants to hear about what you tried to do--only what you have accomplished.
Example: Experimented with new LAN management software.
Possible rephrasing: Tested and evaluated new LAN management software.
Skillfully, effectively, carefully, quickly, expert, mastered
Reasons to avoid: Hiring managers often object to words that describe how well you do a particular task. In many cases, it comes across as boastful--and it's unnecessary. "If you aren't good at it, why are you putting it on your resume?" one recruiter said.
Example: Skillfully managed transition from Windows NT to Windows Server 2003.
Possible rephrasing: Migrated organization from Windows NT to Windows Server 2003 with no downtime during business hours.
Cutting-edge, detail-oriented; coordinate, facilitate, transform; proven ability, synergy, and liaison
Reasons to avoid: Hiring managers say such words take up space without communicating much. They've seen them so often that the words have lost their original energy.
Example: Detail-oriented manager with proven ability to oversee day-to-day network operations and to implement major technology initiatives.
Possible rephrasing: Supervised an eight-member IS staff; completed two full-scale platform migrations; consolidated equipment and resources following facilities move.
Responsible for...
Reasons to avoid: You're a manager, so of course you're responsible for something. Specify exactly what your responsibilities are and work in a few numbers to convey the scope of what you do.
Example: Responsible for managing inventory, overseeing network operations, making new equipment purchases, troubleshooting workstation issues.
Possible rephrasing: Supervised the support of 70 users running Windows XP and two servers running Windows Server 2003; implemented asset management plan for inventorying equipment; built a network operations team responsible for the internal infrastructure.

So people keep that in mind, and step your game up...

M.I.A. - Paper Planes ...

To finish off the posts for "Swagger Like Us" ...
I thought I'd post up here where they got the sample from ... so here it is

Her name - M.I.A.
Her song - Paper Planes

I think the third verse is where she says "No one on the corner got swagger like us"

She did her thing too., got over 10 million hits on youtube alone

Swagger Like Us ... Video and Controversy

So with Paper Trail coming up soon... T.I. has been putting out some tracks as of late..

however, Swagger Like Us is crazy .. Kanye, Jay, Wayne and T.I.  .. Outrageous..
it's like the Redeem Team of Hip Hop...

However there is controversy over the track... take a listen...

If you didn't notice ... T. I. says ..
"you see weezy for the wordplay,
jeezy for the birdplay,
kanyeezy for diversity and me for controversy, "
Jeezy does not equal Jay-Z ... either T.I.P missed the memo or Jeezy missed the memo... either way I'm waiting for someone to let me know what's really going on ...

Anyway, the track is still hott.....

"I can't wear skinny jeans cause my pockets too fat"
I hope this stops the skinny jeans for guys trend... I NEVER wore them.. but to each his own...

[13:45] Mr. Talented: Nobody calls Jay-Z, Jeezy
[13:45] Mr. Talented: and jay for the birdplay

[13:48] Mr. Talented: i wonder what jeezy has to say about this

[13:49] Mr. Talented: hmmm.... are people talking about the fact that jeezy gets named but is not on the track??

[13:50] Mr. Talented: like an hour....
[13:50] LowKey: yea
[13:50] Mr. Talented: "i need to get myself together, i'm a need about an hour"

[13:51] LowKey: lmao
[13:51] Mr. Talented: lol... i gotta stop speaking in rap verses
[13:51] Mr. Talented: but it's funny to me

Kanye West - Goodmorning

It's early in the morning so I thought we'd start the day off right.....

The Official Good Morning video is here...
This is one of my favorite intros of all time (along with Dynasty)
However I already posted about it
here

In case you missed it last November here it is again....

Great video, really inspiring too...

Gas Prices are too HIGH -- Even For Diddy??..wtf

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Gas Prices are too HIGH... not just because I say so... but because your boy Diddy says so...

Even the super rich are being affected, ... Diddy talks about how he has to now fly commercial... on an American Airlines flight ...

My favorite parts...

"Gas prices are too M@ther#uck!n high!"

"Flights back and forth to L.A. $250,000 a month cause gas prices are so high"

"I'd like to give a shout out to all my Saudia Arabian Brothers and Sisters... and all my Brothers and Sisters from..um... all the countries that have Oil... If y'all can please send me some oil for my jet I would truly appreciate it."

"And I'm in Coach"

I cracked up sooooo much...crazy

What Not to Wear back to school

So Seventeen Magazine did a back to school youtube clip...

They were trying to tell girls some "cool" looks for the fall back to school..

Judging by comments left, such as:

a2chickaa- "I'm sorry but it´s UGLY,..."

eggz125- "omg thats all horrible...my eyes!!!! my EYESSSS!"

and my favorite

missrandom80s- "k all of thoose outfits sucked! if any1 has a drop of smart in their body they will kno that thoose outfits were ugly!!!"

Obviously they not only dropped the ball... they gave it to the other team...

So, soon we'll be posting about what to REALLY wear back to school.....

Ghostface Killah aka Tony Starks in the Iron Man Movie

So why they deleted this scene ... not too sure.,
I think because he was about to engage in a menage but they should've kept it... Hip Hop fans would've loved the movie and Robert Downey Jr. much better... cause you know he's catching all HELL for his role in Tropic Thunder...

but here is the deleted scene with Ghostface

Olympic Backshot

So one thing that isn't really talked about during the Olympics is the "hookups"... I mean all those athletes, somebody gotta be gettin down with somebody...

So now you got millionaires in the stands (USA Basketball Team) and instead of enjoying the game, they lookin at some @$$... but they're used to see this Right?
Well, check out who got both Kobe and especially my boy LeBron in a state of shock...

Lebron got that, "White girl got that donk on her" look... he not even caring what Chris Paul or J-Kidd got to say (even though they were all speaking about that donk)

I know that look... I've had that look before (like when i saw the picture)

Who is it that has them in a state of White girl with a booty shock....
reportedly Misty May-Treanor

So everyone sing a long, "She got a Donk, She got a Donk, She got a Donk, She got a Donk... Donk, Donk, Donk, Donk..".. okay that was overkill, but that song catchy as hell....

Shout out to blacksportsonline for getting those pics

Go Team USA for the Gold...
The one thing that can stop them ... booty

The Game vs. Bow Wow

So before we gave you Lil Wayne vs. Juelz Santana in Bowling

Now we present....

The Game vs. Bow Wow in Madden 09'

Just look at the tape, shouts to KonsoleKingz.com for starting this mess....

I'm not sure who'd win...
I got my $$$$$$ on Soulja Boy

Guess we'll wait and see...

Hip Hop Loves Barack

So I'm sure there is going to be more and more and MORE of this as the election draws closer.... and if he gets into the white house.. OH LORD, expect this out of everyone's mouth....

"I am the _____________'s Obama" is everywhere...

Even Jay-Z on the A Billi ( A Milli) remix says it, "Signing off it's the hoods Barack"

I mean, in music and shows, people are calling themselves the "Barack" of their sphere.
Barack has become synonymous of Running $h!t or being the President of something.

At first I was a little irritated, but now it's at a point that I have come to accept it. Better now that rappers wanna be like Obama than to be like Gotti.... Right?

So to Bill O'Reily and the rest of the media and pundits that want to get at Hip Hop and Urban children for calling themselves "the Barack" or "the Obama" of their world... just imagine what they could be. It could be 88' when people want to be the "Richard Porter" or "Scarface" of their territory.

So before the Mr. Obama has spent one night in the White House, he's having a Positive/Leadership effect on the Culture.

Except Crooked I, I'm not sure if this is going to make the Campaign Trail

Planet Green Top 5 Green Colleges

So, you know how I"m about my GREEN$$$$

planetgreen.com just put out their list of Top 5 Green Colleges and I think it's a cool thing to rank up... I mean if everyone is supposed to be going green, Colleges and Universities should be too....

So here is their write up...

"Whether you're heading off to college soon yourself or you've got a child about to make the big move, considering which colleges are green is important these days. Dorm rooms tend to be wasteland in many colleges and you might be concerned with surrounding yourself or your loved one with more environmentally-friendly-minded individuals during this crucial time in life. Well, the good news is that there are a lot of colleges becoming more and more green these days. Here are five that have stood out to me:

Pitzer College, Claremont, California.
Pitzer has made some incredible green changes across the board, but the college is especially getting noticed these days for their green dorm rooms (http://www.treehugger.com/files/2006/09/green_your_dorm.php). On top of that, they've got a bike program and you can bet it doesn’t stop there. Pitzer is clearly concerned with moving forward with the green movement and I’m behind it.

College of the Atlantic, Bar Harbor, Maine.
Human Ecology is the only subject you can major in here at this small college. And when they say human ecology, what they mean is 'the study of our relationship with the environment.' That’s the one and only subject to study at this college and their college runs its campus in an eco-friendly way, too...of course.

Evergreen State College, Olympia, Washington.
Not only is Olympia, Washington a great place to discover so many natural beauties of this country, but this college is also a beacon for those seeking something refreshingly green. They have an organic farm center. They use recycled paper. They use natural cleaning products. The list goes on and that's why Evergreen makes the cut.

Oberlin College, Oberlin, Ohio.
This liberal arts school has got a car-sharing program. They have energy monitors in their dorm rooms. Oh yeah and 100% eco-friendly cleaning products, too.

Harvard University, Boston, Massachusetts.
Leave it to some of the country's finest minds to engineer a green Ivy League school. Harvard has got a green cleaning service, organic food in its cafeteria, their campus conserves energy at every corner, etc."

Shout out to the staff at Pitzer College for coming in at #1

So one of my goals for the semester is to visit Colleges that are making strides toward saving the Planet....

Ladies, Running In Place Won't Get You Far

Ladies, Running In Place Won't Get You Far

Every Monday is National Women's Marathon Cardio Day.

At least that's what you might believe if you went to a gym on a typical Monday. Crowds of women use the eliptical trainers, the step machines, and most of all, the treadmills. They move in place in pursuit of their dream bodies at a cadence so slow, it would try the patience of a statue. Some will find the will to do so, week in and week out, starting and ending at virtually the same respective times, every day. These women are truly a testament to dedication.

It's a just a shame those treadmills aren't mobile, because that's the only way most of these ladies will get anywhere.

As Albert Einstein once stated,
"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result."
It turns out Einstein was talking about the gym runners, because their bodies probably adapted to the marathon cardio sessions after a month or so.

If these hypothetical ladies sound like you, take heart. New results are just a change of pace away. It can be as simple as splitting your cardio between three different machines. Those who want something a bit more advanced can give the following interval sequence a try:

* Jog for 45 seconds
* Sprint for 30 seconds
* Jog for 45 seconds
* Walk for 1 minute

Repeat the sequence 4 times. Add an interval each successive week. But for Heaven's sake, please make a change in your routine. If you think steady-state cardio is all it will take to attain the body of your dreams, you might as well be running in place.

Bernie Mac - Thanks for the Memories

I've waited a little while to post something about the Great Bernie Mac. The R.I.P's have been said and I'm always one to look on the Positives that people have done with their time in this world. So I'm going to posts clips of Mr. Mac, from his Def Comedy Jam performance to his Kings of Comedy Performance. He left us with much to smile, laugh and be thankful for. You are missed.

Comedy

So I came across these as I was on Facebook.... just giving you something to laugh about.......

First are the Women...

Five tips for a woman....
1. It is important that a man helps you around the house and has a job.
2. It is important that a man makes you laugh.
3. It is important to find a man you can count on and doesn't lie to You.
4. It is important that a man loves you and spoils you.
5. It is important that these four men don't know each other!
*Just a joke, guys, don't worry :-)

oh that was funny....

And Now the Men's Turn

Men strike back!

How many men does it take to open a beer?
None. It should be opened when she brings it.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Why is a Laundromat
a really bad place to pick up a woman?
Because a woman who can't even afford a washing machine will probably never be able to support you.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Why do women have smaller feet than men?
It's one of those 'evolutionary things' that allows
them to stand closer to the kitchen sink.
-----------------------------------------------------------
How do you know when
a woman is about to say something smart?
When she starts a sentence with 'A man once told me....'
-----------------------------------------------------------
How do you fix a woman's watch?
You don't. There is a clock on the oven.
----------------------------------------------------------
If your dog is barking at the back door and your wife is yelling at the front door, who do you let in first?
The dog, of course. He'll shut up once you let him in.
-- --------------------------------------------------------
I married a Miss Right.
I just didn't know her first name was Always.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Scientists have discovered a food that diminishes
a woman's sex drive by 90%.
It's called a Wedding Cake.
----------------------------------------------------
Why do men die before their wives?
They want to.
------------------------------------------------------
Women will never be equal to men
until they can walk down the street with a bald head
and a beer gut, and still think they are sexy.
------------------------------------------------------
In the beginning, God created the earth and rested.
Then God created Man and rested.
Then God created Woman.
Since then, neither God nor Man has rested.
------------------------------------------------------
Send this to a few good men who need a laugh and
to the select few wo men who can handle it!

Paris for President???????...

Judah x Mick Boogie x Hypebeast ... Present RA The MC

To all the people who love Real Hip Hop... I present to you a good friend of mine and a Beast on the MIC.. RA the MC..

She is seriously talented...

Quick story, True story,
We went to this listening party for an album last summer. And then I let the artists manager know that she's an MC. He's like "For real", and I'm like "Yea Yea". So he's like aight, "let's hear her". Know this is before his artists gets to the venue. So we go outside in front of the venue. He brings over one of the producers on the album, three of his "up and coming mc's" and a friend come over. So now there is like 7 of us in a circle and RA starts spittin'. Everyone's nodding their heads and listening, then all of a sudden it was like someone sprayed mace in the circle. Everyone's nose gets scrunched up, two of them covered their faces, the other two turned away and you hear a "Dayum". I don't remember what she said, but it had everyone change their faces up and earned instant respect. Needless to say, they wanted to sign her that night.

Fast Forward a year of heavy grinding and it pays off.

Air Yeezy!!!!

Well, we posted about them before...

But here are the better pics of the Nike Air Yeezy in two colorways

this is what one of my favorite blog sites HighSnobiety had to say about them

"The Air Yeezy is inspired by Kanye’s love for high top designer shoes, drafting from the collar molding seen in the Air Jordan V and featuring a thin midfoot strap hardly meant for support. While originally conceptualized atop a Dunk midsole, the final version of the Yeezy features the familiar shared tooling from the Jordan III and Air Revolution, which most recently was also featured on Jordan Brand’s Spiz’ike and a lesser known model that deservedly flew under the radar, the Flight 48. It’s also the bulkiness of the shoe’s tongue that stands out most, with West always opting to pop the tongue and leave the waxed laces loosely tied. An ode to his tour, the model’s outsole also actually glows in the dark, as similar to a common glow stick, if the shoe is held near light, the familiar green glowing hue will radiate afterwards out from under the shoe. This black/glow colorway features a ridiculously high quality full grain leather along the heel quarter, with rich suede making up the toe and midfoot overlays and patent leather highlighting the dominant midfoot strap."

Good Research...
