This Georgia Heat Ain't Playing Tricks On Me

Oh, so Georgia won?
I didn’t notice. Who woulda thought that a team that couldn’t win its own conference, and couldn’t make it to their own conference title game would be capable of not only beating, but destroying the nation’s last undefeated team by 31?
Not this guy.
No, not after ripping off six straight wins against pushovers like Florida, Auburn, Kentucky, and Georgia Tech, and that god-awful bye they had the first weekend December. In fact, after beating Hawaii, it’s only fitting that they move down the rankings.

What’s amazing is how the other national title contender fared. Oklahoma got rocked by West Virginia. Georgia could have just as easily been on their heels after being ridiculously snubbed on BCS money day, but they weren’t. They were champions even when they knew there was no chance at a national title. If this, coupled with USC’s dominance in the Rose Bowl, isn’t damning proof for a playoff system, I’m not quite sure what is.

lets get straight to it.

As a connoisseur of fashionable things, actually things in general. These are one of my favorite sunglasses though they are not the Louis Vuitton "Millionaire" shades, you will look like a million dollars. The brand name is Mosley Tribes made by the people of Oliver Peoples, who are well known in the fashion industry. Mosley Tribes in there first collaboration is collaborating with Maharishi. For those of yall that dont know Maharishi or MHI, they are fashion and art heavy hitters. Look them up if you dont know, actually check the best boutique in ya area and they will be there.

These "Sentinels" come with the frame, three interchangeable lens (Silver Mirror, Shooter Yellow, and Grey Gradient).

The price is a little high but what price would on looking good. Priceless. Thanks HB for the pics.


Another sunglass collab is Dita and Cazal.





The luxury sunglasses brand Dita and Cazal who has been around for almost 2 decades have re-released these 902s, which where originally released in 1982. Though it was released in 1982 they were popular for about 14 years, and now I see them popular for another decade. Dita together with Cazal are now offering these shades in a number of a colors and upgraded the shades in many ways. They will be available at www.cazalxdita.com on February 22 of 2008. A new art show opened up in Miami last week called the F.A.M.E Collective. Opening in the Art Basel week in Miami, they had alot of known artists displaying some custom pieces. The list of artist is amazing they are from all different genres, here are some: Dave White, Futura, Ron English, Jeremy Fish, MARS-1, Kenji Hirata, Tomokazu Matsuyama, Sam Flores, Jeremy Fish, and many more. Just that short list of artist have been some of the most influential in the last 5 years and some more. Here are some pics of the event.

Kiks TYO a brand that most of you will not be familiar with, but they are a "kik" oriented or "krazed" clothing company. They do alot of matching clothing for new Jordan releases and some dunks. They have been known to collaborate with Casio on G-Shock Collection watches. Now they have collaborated with Casio and Sesame Street. Below is a pack being offered by the company, of course in limited numbers. This is suppose to be the first of a number of collaborations with these companies together. I will let you know if another pack comes out...until then look at the pics.

I know my last post had the 14k Gold Supra Muska High, which I was a big fan of (which is why I bought them). I have another new exclusive pair of Supra that are to be released tomorrow (Dec.15th). They are a collaboration with Brooklyn Projects which is a well known board shop in Los Angeles. Brooklyn Projects are veterans that have collaborated with many and even have out there own line. I don't know what the concept of the shoe is but it will still have kids in sleeping bags outside the store to be the first to get there hands on them. You tell me what you think...

Still on the Supra side they are coming out with a higher end line called Supra NS. It is suppose to made with some of the best leathers and other materials. Everything will be premium even the price, but they will be available in boutiques rather than only being in skate shops. These are there first release which should be hitting boutiques and other shops soon. I like them even though I dont usually like all white trainers.

Since this is getting long...this is the last thing I want to show, or rather get your feelings on. So I want to do a poll or something. Coogi came out with a pair of shoes and I want to know how you feel about them, and now I dont want you to be biased or swayed because of their popularity fell off a little. So here they are and I will tell Mr. Talented to put up a poll.

They will also come in white, which you can see a little of in the lower left corner of the first pic. They are supposed to drop for holiday, so it should be in store in the next couple weeks. Let me also say this alot of clothing lines that come out with shoes usually don't do well, but there has been some success as of late(i.e Shmack, Alife, UBIQ). So VOTE or DIE.

What up What up,

So to those that just wanted a lil bit of extra cash to get others (santa's helpers) or get themselves (selfish asses) something extra for Christmas... there is a temp job open. It'll be for the next ten or so days, as a Fossil Rep (the watch company).

You'd be working at Springfield Mall in Springfield, Virginia. You won't be completing the transaction, just a person who's constantly informing and persuading to the Fossil watches. The pay (most important part) is about $10 hr and the day lasts around 8hrs. So you won't be making an obscene amount, but it'll give extra cash for those special gifts.

I know u missed me this week. So with the winter break (thank god) finally here, there is two things on my mind. Spring Break , Spring Break.
So to help y'all with deciding on what fashions to wear in March, I'll do a series of Spring Break clothing blogs.

First up, Swimsuits...
The right swimsuit will bring the wanted attention and keep you looking fresh on the beach.

For those of who don't know the swimsuit designer Ashley Paige, she makes some really hot swimsuits for women. She was on an episode of The Hills, where they showed us some of her very top and high quality swimsuits. I'm really feeling her collection of swimsuits.

They are not your average kind of swimsuits, they are filled with a lot of style and class. If I saw a girl wearing one of these swimsuits I would think she was very stylish.
I think that women will not only feel sexy, but they will feel very confident if they have one of these on.

Ladies, if you need a nice swimsuit for spring break or vacation this is one designer to check out.

What's Love Got to Do With It.......R.I.P Ike Turner

R.I.P...... Ike Wister Turner
As most of you might (or might not have heard), Ike Turner has passed away. He was 76 years old.
If you are like me (born into the 80's), you might only know Ike Turner as the Man who Slapped the Hell out of Tina Turner. As Big said

"Beating Motherf&%ckers like Ike beat Tina
What's Love Got to Do, Got to Do"

The movie, that was an adaptation from Tina Turner's (Anna Mae Bullock, wtf...her name is not Tina) autobiography (I, Tina), What's Love Got To Do With It? (1993) depicted Ike as a drunk, drug addicted, obsessed and abusive spouse. Ike took Tina in the ambulance after Tina tries to commit suicide;

"If you don't make it I'll kill you, you hear me b***h, I'll kill you"

The movie was a hit (Angela Basset did her thang), Ike's reputation was thrown under the bus and women had a story of struggle and triumph to relate to.

The man not depicted in the movie was a musical genius (a pianist, guitarist and showman who created songs that carried blues into a new era) and one of a very few men who is debated as the Creator of Rock n Roll. His hit "Rocket 88", in 1951 by his band, is argued as the first "Rock n Roll" record.

Later his life saw triumph, failure, jail time, drug addiction, redemption and recognition. He is inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame (1991) and earlier this year (2007) he won his first Solo Grammy.

The man has many synonyms that can be used, however he will forever go down as the ultimate in Spousal Abuse (O.J. comes close, but Ike admitted it and did it repeatedly).

Is It Better to Have Loved and Lost?? part 1

So we have all heard the quote,

"It is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all".

But is that true?

How often has one loved, lost and felt good about it?

So I have this question.

If you send a text message and don't get a reply, does your Ex-Girlfriend still smile when she gets it?

So the other day, I sent a text message over to an Ex of mine.

It was nothing overt, no "I love you", not even a "Hi". It said a phrase that she made when we were dating, I just wanted to let her know that I remembered something. And after sending it, I didn't get a reply.
It wasn't all on my mind (yea it was), but I wondered what she felt about it?

Did she check it out?

Did she get it and Smile?

That's what I wanted to know, that's what the goal was.

Questions that need to be answered:

Did she Smile?

Does she still think about me?
What has she been doing?
How does she feel about me?

Maybe I'm just stuck, (we will discuss oneitis later),
