So, he might be born, raised and played his whole life in Cleveland.
But the King ( or prince) has I Love New York surrounding him.
He's good friends with the King of New York (Jay-Z), is so much of a Yankee fan that he even wore a Yankee fitted while in the stands at last years Indians vs Yankees playoff game. Oh and word has it, that's his favorite city. Oh and did I mention he's a free agent at the end of the year?????
Well for the second time, Nike and Lebron have dropped a New York themed shoe. The first time was only 225 pairs at a pop up Nike Store in Soho of the Lebron Zoom IV. This time around it's a Yankee inspired (pinstripes and all) Lebron Zoom V.
Maybe it's all conspiracy theory, or Nike knows that the New York market is one (if not) the biggest for selling kicks. Oh and the Yankees sell more merchandise than any other baseball franchise. So they're going after that $$$$$$$$. Smart move Nike Marketing.
What do you think????,
Mr. Talented
I'm feeling them though, especially the "Fresh for 08 Suckers!" ..

Political Mess....."Who Let the Dogs Out"
Now, I haven't been keeping up with the Political Race as much as I should. However, it's been getting more and more racially intensified.
So with that here are two different clips this week.
1. Barack was asked if he thought "Bill Clinton was the first Black President?"
I like his response because first he answers the question, then he closes it with on a lighter side, joking at the end.
2. WTF was Mitt Romney thinking. Well, he thought he was being cool. He wasn't, but it sure is funny to see. 2 things to listen to:
a. "Who Let the Dogs out, woof woof"
b. While looking at a toddler, "I see you got your bling bling on"
Hilarious....Priceless
oh these candidates....
Mr. Talented
p.s.
John McCain voted against Martin Luther King Day as a National Holiday... not once, not twice, BUT THREE TIMES ... Damn

Rick Ross on the Sean Taylor incident
So, as I was checking through the aftermath of the Sean Taylor death (R.I.P. so tragic)...
I came across an article in which Rick Ross chimed in on the subject.
I respect Rick Ross alot, and his presence makes me concur with lots of statements that he makes.
During the discussion, comes his stance on how Sean Taylor, because of previous situations, was underprepared for the situation. As Ross states:
In essence he's almost blaming Taylor's inability to use "tools" necessary to defend himself and his family because of the media scrutiny that came while he had the necessary "tools".
My take is that Rick Ross is speaking on the naivety of the media, fans, and public about people that are from or live in certain places.
The incident comes from the first time Taylor defended himself from a "robbery" and the "tool" that was found at that moment.
So the same thing he was once chastised for having, could've saved his life.
I think it was a death that could have been avoided by many different measures, however, we don't know Taylor's full life and what people saw about him to try and get to him in particular. But, Stars/Athletes/Entertainers are like everyone else and need ways to protect themselves against others that try to "touch" them. As Ross says:
are athletes who keep "tools" to protect themselves in the wrong????

shout outs to all the r.i.p. sean taylor facebook groups and the outpouring for the situation he was faced with
