The Mega Millions is at 115million with a 70.2million payout.... (participating states You can play Mega Millions in California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.)

What would I Do If I Won the Lottery??

So instead of getting jewels or a car, I'd go first with an apartment. I checked through my favorite uber luxury site, www.luxist.com, to see what they have. Boycott the BCS

If you are a real college football fan, your season is over. You must boycott the BCS. This money-making machine has been shoved down our throats since its 1998 inception, and has left more people upset than Nick Saban. This year is no different. We had two teams sitting at 3 and 4, both in identical situations. Neither was playing a game, and neither was in a conference championship game. So when Missouri lost to a better Oklahoma team for the second time this year, and West Virginia (gimpy 80s pornstar) lost it left Ohio State and Georgia were to battle for all the marbles. Oh but wait. The voters decided to change their mind, because now, they weren’t voting for the two best teams in the country.

No, they were voting for who they wanted to see in the BCS National Championship Game.

Now, Georgia sucks???????

They didn’t win their own division in own conference. Now, Georgia drops one spot, while two teams in front of them lost. Let me clarify – Georgia dropped three spots while idle. The voters knew last week that Georgia wasn’t going to win their conference, but they voted them #4. LSU lost the week prior, and was anything but spectacular against their narrow win over Tennessee. If you want to say Georgia didn’t deserve to be in the national title game, tell me the week before, or show me convincing reasons otherwise. Like say, if a team beats the #1 team in the country for the second time by 3 touchdowns on a neutral field. Georgia was robbed, because Les Miles turned into Urban Crier, and nowadays, an SEC title equals a spot in the national title game. If LSU's performance in the SEC title game was enough to jump over ACC champion Virginia Tech, Kansas, and Georgia, then Oklahoma's performance was enough to jump Oklahoma over LSU.

My point is, the BCS has to stop. The voters vote for the best team in every week except the last. This is not what college football is about! It’s about Georgia, it’s about Oklahoma, it’s about Iowa. The BCS was created to rival the Super Bowl, but college football has always been a different culture than the NFL. Until the BCS is neutered, the way it has neutered college football, it has to be boycotted.

These Supra Muska Skytops are a recent release that have been the most sought after Supra's ever. They are very limited, but if you remember the "Umbrella" video Jay-Z had on something that resembled them. Unlike the first Gold Supra's these do not have any silver on them at all, thats why these have been dubbed the name "14k Gold Skytops". I have seen these first hand at a local skate shop and they are beautiful. Which is why I bought a pair, thanks Ian at Ruin. Also they have been showing up in almost every magazine and on a number of celebrities. But know that these are limited to 1000 so if you find a place that has them, they probably had them if you know what I mean.

A store that has there rare shoes is Karmaloop which has its flagship store in Boston, but is better known as one of the online brick stores. Not only do they carry over 140 brands, they now have started what is called KarmaloopTV. KarmaloopTV was made to document street wear culture, the people that influence it, the people that are part of it, and so much more. They get exclusive interviews with clothing brands and designers, music artists, magazines, and again many more. KarmaloopTV just started airing webisodes, but I see so much promise and I see this changing the game. So give it a look, and tell me what you feel about it. Heres the link:

While on the topic of changing the game we have a DC native who is doing just that. My boy WALE (Wah-lay) for you out there that don't know, and I do mean you the one person who dont know who Wale is. He is on the cover of URB Magazine and plans to be among hip-hop's elite as stated in the article. I feel that not only will he be among hip-hop's elite, he will be part of fashions elite. Wale's style is unique, his kick game is serious with some help from Sneakerman Dan, and he got the swagger of Jay back in the day. Which takes nothing away from his lyrical potency or content. Speaking about hip-hop's elite, they were out in packs for the new BBC/Ice Cream Store in New York. The store was opened on Tuesday November 27th from Noon until 7PM. Then closed on Wednesday November 28th for press and a private party. Then re-opened on Thursday November 29th, and now will be opened daily from 12pm to 7pm. Here are a couple pics of the event, some celebrities and alot of fans.

Thanks to the BBC/Ice Cream Blog for the pics.The store is located on 456 West Broadway between Houston and Prince Street in Soho. The store has some exclusives that you cant find anywhere else, and most are numbered, so when you get a day off you should check them out.

Exclusives is something that everybody is trying produce, though sometime it seems a little forced. Now I dont feel bad about fusing diamonds and sneakers, because they both are precious, rare, and can be very expensive. Big Boi(Andre Patton) of Outkast has linked up with Laced Up and P&C Diamonds to produce the $50,000 Nike Air Force 1 Supreme Max. The local Atlanta event called "Solitaire Kicks" is where he unveiled these Air Force infused with 13K of champagne diamonds. Though you may be thinking why would someone put diamonds on a pair of shoes, its for a good cause. The proceeds will go to Big Boi's Big Kidz Foundation. Even if you have the money there is a long list of celebrity clientèle and just commoners with money that are trying to purchase these. Here are some pics of the event and the shoes. And last in our news I have a story about Levis & Jordan Brand. Which is a collab that no one would ever guess would happen.

The limited edition collection, called 23/501 will consist of jeans, sneakers, and a T-shirt. A pair of Levi’s 501 jeans, an Air Jordan Retro 1 style sneaker and a brushed cotton T-shirt featuring a graphic mix of both brand’s iconic imagery. No pics on the whole collection but here is a peak at the denim.

Not in the pic but that will be included in the woven fabric of the jeans will be Jordan Brand's popular elephant print as well as Jumpman logos and special lining to prevent indigo bleed onto sneakers. The Air Jordan I's will include a denim upper and Levi's Red Tab. There will be only 2,323 packages released. The collection is set for release on March 1, is priced at $395 and comes packaged in a “large keepsake box,” with each piece individually numbered. Thanks to Complex,KATC,HB.

The Greastest Dynasty in Sports (That no one talks about)

Now when speaking of dynasties your almost always going to start a debate. Whether it be the Cleveland Browns(1946-55), the UCLA Bruins basketball team(1964-75) The Boston Celtics(1956-69), The New York Yankees (1936-43). Even now new dynasties are questioned such as the modern day San Antonio Spurs and their 4 rings in 9 years. You can even legitimately throw the UT Lady Vols and UConn Husky women’s basketball teams in the mix. But what may be the most unnoticed yet greatest dynasty of them all is the University of North Carolina women’s soccer program.

UNC women’s soccer has one 19 championships in 26 years including 8 consecutive from 1986- 1994. The only teams (in any sport) with more consecutive championships are also soccer teams. (Rosenberg [13] and Skonto Riga [14])

So that means that there is no greater the dynasty in the history of the United States of America than UNC lady Tar Heel Soccer. As of 2006, UNC had 62 players gain first team All America recognition. The next two schools with the greatest number of All Americans were tied with twenty-two each. This includes 6 national player of the year winners. The laundry list of great players is highlighted by the most known women’s soccer player in the world Mia Hamm. During Mia’s 5 year tenure she sat out in 91 for the world championships) the Tar heels were 121-0 (96-0 w/ her active).


Even as I write this the Tar Heels have already been eliminated from championship contention this year in a 3-2 decision by Notre Dame. But that doesn’t seem to diminish the job that Coach Anson Dorrance (603-27-18 [.930]) has done in not only building great teams but building a fantastic program. He is undoubtedly a great coach. How else do you explain having the national player of the year from 1989-2000. Don’t get me wrong, there are coaches in other sports with more wins but very few with a better winning percentage. But this isn’t about Coach Dorrance individually its about the whole Lady Tar heel soccer family.

Now with all that being said, can you find a team more dominant in its own sport than this program has been since 1981?

Also on the topic of sneakers we also have a pack that has been doing very well in store. Bo Jackson is known in the sports world as a spectacular athlete that played in two professional sports leagues (NFL and MLB). His reign in the sports world was taken away by a injury, but will be forever known though underrated. In the 90s he was immortalized by the "Bo Knows" campaign for the cross trainers that Nike made for him. Now the same inspiration they used for his cross trainers are being used again in the Bo Jackson Dunk collection. Here are some pics of them....


Each shoe colors and materials are inspired by the colors of the past cross-trainers, the workout equipment he used, and multi sport uses.

Now we will go to our field reporter who will cover some new gadgets.
Nooka has came out with a couple "Noo(New)"watches that I think look great, inventive, and a great new way to look at time.I mean I was already a fan of theres, but I think I am touching on stalker status. Time is no longer boring and here is why....

Also we took a look at the two new sidekicks the Sidekick LX and the Sidekick Slide...


The LX(the blue one) was released at the beginning of this month though the release party was the end of last month. The biggest improvement from the Sidekick 3 is the MMS feature, so no more emailing pictures to peoples phone; also the screen is much bigger but so is the phone.
The Slide(the black&purple one) supposed to be released on the 20th of this month, but has hit the streets already(shit I could have had it). It has exactly the same features as the LX, but it is made by Motorola rather than Sharp. The screen is the same size as the Sidekick 3, but it is much more compact and slides up rather than around. So you can have an idea of the size of it, it is the size of a IPhone. There has not been any bugs or recalls reported on the LX, and I expect the same and better from the Motorola Sidekick Slide.

Now for our feature story Jay-Z and his partners bought the British streetwear company Artful Dodger for 15 Million. And released the following statement...

"Artful Dodger is an incredible brand with a lot of room for growth and Scott Langton is a visionary designer. They represent what's next and new in fashion and we are glad to have both the brand and Scott as a part of our family."
His business partners Iconix Brand Group Inc. last week under the company name Scion(a joint venture between the two parties), also bought Jay-Z's "Rocawear" Clothing label earlier this year for $204m in cash.
