Today Trey Songz video for "Yo Side Of The Bed" premiered exclusive on Essence.com. Trey wrote the treatment for this video which is dedicated to military families and troops who constantly put their lives on the line for us.
People instantly equate sex with Trey when they hear his name but this time around you get to see the deeper side of Trey. He plays the role of a loving father and husband who's wife (Keri Hilson) is called back to duty. The video is AMAZING!!! Instant tear jerker.
I think this has to be the best video of his career.

Chris Brown & Tyga Release "Fan of a Fan" Mixape
On May 17, 2010 Chris Brown dropped yet another mixtape, this time with the rapper Tyga entitled "Fan of A Fan".
There's a good mixture of songs on here from both artists. You'll even hear C. Breezy rapping on a few tracks.
Some tracks to look out for are "Deuces", "No Bullsh*t", "Ain't Thinkin Bout You", "Ballin", "Number One" and "Holla @ Me".
Alot of people were saying that Chris's career was over and that he wouldn't recover from his very public abuse incident with Rihana. But I think his two mixtapes are a good indication that his career is far from over.
Here's the link to download the mixtape "Fan Of A Fan".
Below are a few visuals for tracks off the mixtape.

Trey Songz Unplugged Performance
Today Trey Songz's much anticipated "MTV Unplugged" performanced premiered over on MTV.com. He tapped this a few months back, not long after coming off of the BP3 tour with Jay-Z and Jeezy.
We haven't seen an MTV Unplugged performance from an R&B act since Alicia Keys. So for MTV to add Trey to the select few who've had this opportunity says a lot about his growth as an artist.
"Panty Droppa"/"Neighbors Know My Name":
"I Invented Sex"/"Let's Get It On":
"I Need A Girl"/"Use Somebody":
"Black Roses":
"Say Ahh":
"A Change Is Gonna Come":
We haven't seen an MTV Unplugged performance from an R&B act since Alicia Keys. So for MTV to add Trey to the select few who've had this opportunity says a lot about his growth as an artist.
I'm glad to see that people are finally realizing how talented of an artist he is and giving him the recognition he deserves.
Here's what Trey Songz had to say about joining the elite rank of "MTV Unplugged" performers:
"At this point in my career, with all the opportunity arising, this is definitely a major highlight within those opportunities," he says. "I saw a write up on MTV.com and they described my performance as a star-making set. That's crazy to read, and I think "Unplugged" has been that for so many people. It's a chance to highlight an artist, a chance for them to be vulnerable, a chance for them to contort their music and give it to people a different way. To show that I'm truly an artist and that I love to do what I do, making music. To do it on that platform, the same one as so many artist before me is just really amazing."
Watching this performance you would never know that Trey only had a day to put it together, he really out did himself with this performance. It's definitely one to remember. So enjoy it because I know I did.

Vivian Green Drops her third album "Beautiful"
Vivian Green first came on the scene back in 2002 with her debut album "A Love Story" that featured her hit single "Emotional Rollercoaster." As well as the single "Fanatic". Her second album entitled "Vivan" featured the hit singles "Gotta Go, Gotta Leave (Tired)", and "I Like It (But I Don't Need It)".
Now the Philly soul-singer is back with her third studio album entitled "Beautiful." It recently hit stores April 6, 2010.
Here's how Vivian describes her third album:
"These songs are all very personal, even if they're not all directly about me. A lot of them are songs I couldn't have written on my first two albums, because I just didn't have the experience or the wisdom at the time. It's the most fun I've ever had making a record," Vivian says of Beautiful’s birth cycle.
"We worked in Anthony Bell's studio, which is in his home, and it was a very relaxed, creative environment. If I wanted to sit down at the piano and start writing a song from scratch, like I did with 'Somewhere,' I could. The whole experience was very natural and comfortable, and I hope that you can hear that in the music."
A few songs to look out for on the album is the lead single "Beautiful", as well as "When We're Apart", "Better Man", "Somewhere", "So Far Gone", "Search Is Over" and "One Of None".

Trey Songz Debuts "Neighbors Know My Name" Video
Today Trey Songz dropped the video for his 6th single "Neighbors Know My Name." I'm sure alot of people expected this video to look different then what it does, hence the content of the song. But Trey took another route with the video and gave us a different visual.
Here's what Trey had to say about the video:
"I Wantd 2 focus more on artistic shots for this video, hence the silhouettes, redlights & graphics. Small details like the white/black contrast n the bathtub scene. Every shot is the equivalent of a beautiful portrait or painting."
